Salon is a triennial exhibition of Croatian architect’s projects. This particular project was an exhibition of projects made from 2003th to 2006th. Instead of typical gallery rooms, it was placed in open space, to be more precise, on the main city square. For one month it occupied the center of Zagreb. Instead of detergent mega advertisement posters, plans and photos of ambitious architectural projects leaned over passengers. Rare are the occasions when citizens, while waiting for the tram, comment architecture, mock or approve, or just stay indifferent despite all of the architect’s effort. But at least this time architects didn’t show their work to each others. Number „41“ could only be read from air, so the bird eye look was used as a salon sign for the media or jumbo posters.
