Our idea is a house with urban personality, distinct and comprehensible to all. Autonomous and self explanatory. Its idea will belong to all. One will feel the absence of design rather than contemporary hypertrophy of "personal expressions".

Museum building is not part of the orderly city structure nor a part of the park. It's a "device" on the waterfront. If "the house is a machine for living", then "museum is machine for exposition".

We lift the Museum in the air to emphasize the continuity of the waterfront and to allow the view of the bay from the park.

The museum consists of three elements A, B and C, of which element C we consider the most important one.

A = a white box gallery.

B = entrance, lobby, restaurant and other, but first of all the link between all spaces and functions.

C = covered area of the square. Covered square is a public good, also an element of Mediterranean architecture far on the north.
